How it all began...
We’re a family business with two goals; to look after our cows, and make sure that our beef tastes great
We’re not your typical farming family.
We didn’t start off in farming. About 20 years ago we got fed up off not knowing where our food came from and living in a noisy town. So we decided to buy some land and try rearing our own beef.
Apart from the bulls, we are an entirely female team. Led by myself and my three daughters. We believe in growing our food slowly and ethically and with the upmost respect for the animals we eat.
Having started selling beef from a tiny garden shed we now have an onsite shop and cutting room. Our herd has also grown form two cows and calves to over 40 pedigree Hereford cattle, farmed over 70 acres in Cheshire.
